2023 CARTEEH Student of the Year

Congratulations to Elizabeth Rhinehart on her Student of the Year award! Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Environmental Health from Texas A&M University’s School of Public Health.

Elizabeth is a Graduate Assistant Researcher for the Health and Sustainability Program within the Air Quality and Environment Division at TTI. Elizabeth has worked at TTI since 2021, where she began as an undergraduate intern for TTI’s CARTEEH. As a burgeoning public health professional, Elizabeth focuses her research on the intersection of transportation and health. Her areas of interest and expertise include the impacts of traffic-related air pollution (TRAP) on vulnerable road users and other disadvantaged populations. Her work also focuses on providing transportation agencies with strategies to enhance health equity during all phases of the life cycle of transportation infrastructure.
