2022 CARTEEH Student of the Year

Congratulations to Michelle Duren on her student of the year award! Michelle Duren is a PhD candidate in Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research focuses on how the environment and policy change influence health behaviors. Her dissertation centers on uncovering reasons for the observed surge in bicycling during the COVID-19 pandemic and providing concrete policy implications for how bicycling changes can be sustained and furthered moving forward. Michelle is a health policy analyst for the Government Accountability Office. Michelle has a BA in Political Science and Masters of International Public Affairs from the University of Wisconsin.
